隨著澳洲永續發展報告標準（ASRS）的製定，澳洲在永續發展報告方面取得了重大進展。這些由澳洲會計準則委員會 (AASB) 創建的新準則將對公司具有強制性，標誌著先前自願框架的轉變。 ASRS 與國際財務報告準則 (IFRS) 基金會的永續發展揭露標準緊密一致，確保與全球 ESG 報告要求相容。 

ASRS 包括三個關鍵標準：用於一般氣候相關財務揭露的 ASRS 1、用於特定氣候揭露的 ASRS 2 以及用於澳洲永續發展報告中參考的 ASRS 101。主要重點是範圍 1、2 和 3 排放報告，涵蓋整個公司供應鏈的排放。新標準旨在為投資者提供一致、透明的可持續發展訊息，這對於做出明智的決策至關重要。
