Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has announced the acquisition of Ownership Capital, a Dutch asset manager specializing in sustainable investment strategies. 

This acquisition enhances LOIM’s sustainable investment offerings, bringing its assets under management to over $10 billion and positioning the firm to capitalize on the growing demand for sustainable, global equities.

Founded in 2008 as part of PGGM’s portfolio, Ownership Capital became independent in 2013, offering investment services to pension funds, foundations, and endowments. The firm has built its reputation on a deep analysis of material sustainability factors, focusing on long-term investments driven by strong sustainability performance. Ownership Capital is known for its active ownership approach, engaging with companies to drive progress on sustainability goals.

For LOIM, the acquisition is part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable investing. Jean-Pascal Porcherot, Managing Partner of Lombard Odier Group and Co-Head of LOIM, highlighted the value of Ownership Capital’s expertise in long-term, engaged ownership, particularly in markets where deeper sustainability challenges often go unaddressed.
