The Sweden-Thailand Sustainable Development Forum 2024, held on September 30 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok, reinforced sustainability ties between the two nations. As part of the Sustainability Expo (SX 2024), this marks the fourth year of collaboration between Swedish and Thai embassies, focusing on mutual commitments to sustainability and innovation. 

Key attendees included Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Deputy Minister of Interior H.E. Mrs. Sabeeda Thaised, and Director-General of the Department of European Affairs H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen. The forum serves as a platform for sharing knowledge and practices in sustainable development between Sweden and Thailand. 

A notable highlight of the event was the “Sweden Pavilion,” showcasing Swedish innovations and sustainable practices by leading companies active in Thailand. The pavilion remains open until October 6, allowing visitors to explore Swedish research and solutions in sustainability from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs daily.
