Siemens’ focus will center on manufacturing solar string inverters, pivotal devices responsible for converting solar panel-generated energy into usable electrical current for the U.S. utility-scale market. The manufacturing process is slated to take place at a facility situated in Kenosha, Wisconsin, operated by Sanmina , a contract manufacturer.
